We have been involved in road surfacing contracts large and small for more than 30 years on behalf of local authorities and major private sector contractors.

Planing / Milling

We are expert in controlled road planing/milling to restore surfaces to specified profiles. Bumps, ruts and other surface irregularities are removed, leaving a uniform textured surface. Over the years we have invested millions of pounds in the latest planing/milling equipment. This has helped us become approved contractors at important locations such as the Forth Road Bridge, where surface tolerances of as low as 1mm are required. Our planing/milling expertise has also helped us become renowned for completing major runway and taxiway contracts at international airports. All of our road planing/milling operatives hold a Certificate of Competence in Plant Operation. 

All personnel hold a Certificate in Safety Awareness awarded by the Contractors Mechanical Plant Engineering Association in conjunction with the Construction industry Training Board.
